Sentinel Surveillance – Since 2005 till date

Sentinel Survillence ia a project which any CBO/ NGO working on HIV/AIDS prevention project gets only after the organisation completes 3 years. I t is basically done to check the prevalence of HIV Transmission in High Risk Groups and is compared with previous statistical data to check how effective are the prevention projects working, what needs to be changed etc and to see any changes in the rate of prevalence.
